I have to agree with you in that thing about Hetalia fandom... I am Hetalia fan, but I don't like lots of fangirls, because history was NEVER kawai... -_- And I know, that lots of people can hate Hetalia, but that anime is also good because it can force people to study history. And some fans as me, take history serious. I also don't like yaoi.
So, I understand you, but please, don't think, that every fan of Hetalia is crazy and yaoi-loving person.
(I hope, that you know, what I want to say, my english is not good. )
Speaking as a Hetalia fan, it's meant as comedy. I don't like the fact that some of the worst events in history are either excluded, not mentioned, denied, or just remade into some cute event, but I will ignore that and feel hatred for someone doing that. On the other hand, there is some good fanart of Hetalia depicting some of these pretty tragic incidents....Really, there is!
Uggh...I can't STAND Hetalia! It's so gay and retarded, and I'm sick of all the yaoi fangirls saying it's the greatest thing ever...it is NOT. I pretty much can't stand most animu in general, especially modern ones like Hetalia, Naruto and Chode Gayass: Ledouche of the Fagbellion. I like 80s and 90s anime but generally not stuff from the 2000s, it's too sparkly and has too many bishies, lolis, Mary Sues and impossibly-attractive characters. Scryed and Death Note are probably among the only modern anime I like.
Also your Timmy's Dad avatar is funny. I guess we can all blame Dinkleberg for Hetalia's popularity!
No, he's not a weeaboo himself, but he IS responsible for the sheer numbers of weeaboos clogging up the interwebs and deviantART with their shitty art. And that's why we blame him for everything bad and wrong with the world.
